Our lives are intricately woven with traces of diverse environments that continually shape our identities and perspectives. These varied experiences not only define who we are but also enrich the world through a cycle of mutual influence. As a leading cultural organization in Brooklyn, BRIC actively enhances the vibrant and diverse cultural fabric of the community by making arts and media accessible to everyone. In response to this mission, we invite artists to submit video art that explores themes of identity, community, and cultural exchange. This online collaborative exhibition celebrates the interaction between personal narratives and the broader social landscape. By showcasing diverse life experiences, we aim to foster a dialogue that transcends individual perspectives, weaving our shared environment and experiences into a collective narrative. Join us in this exhibition to contribute to a collective human experience.
The screening was featured on BRIC's online platform and public television channel for one month. Divided into three sections, Documenting: The Pulse of the City and the Breath of Nature, Drifting: Between Future and Present, and Echoing: Traces and Connections, with a total runtime of 2 hours, it showcased diverse video works from 19 artists worldwide.
